Guys 40+ is a self-published book series written under the pen name C.M. Wiley. This site is operated as an independent publishing project. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it refers to Guys 40+ and C.M. Wiley.

What we collect and why

Email address

When you submit the opt-in form to receive a free audit PDF, we collect your email address. This is used to:

• Send you the requested audit PDF (if not already downloaded directly)
• Send occasional emails about new books, updates, or related resources

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Ever.

Email service provider

We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to manage our email list. When you submit your email, it is stored on Kit's servers. Kit's privacy policy is available at kit.com/privacy.

Purchase data

Books are sold through Gumroad. If you purchase a book, your payment and order information is processed and stored by Gumroad, not by us. Gumroad's privacy policy is at gumroad.com/privacy. We receive your email address from Gumroad when a purchase is completed.

Website analytics

This site does not currently use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking pixels. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any tracking begins.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser may store technical data (such as your theme preference) locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to us.

How long we keep your data

Your email address remains on our list until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send, or by emailing us directly. We will remove your address within 5 business days of any removal request.

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for email communications at any time
• Receive a copy of the data we hold about you

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are located in California, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has submitted information through this site, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

This site contains links to Gumroad and Kit. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply. We are not responsible for their practices.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy — such as adding analytics, changing our email provider, or expanding what we collect — we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively change how previously collected data is used without notice.
